THE AVENGERS ASSEMBLE KICKED ASS!

Avengers Assemble. Ain't it obvious how The Hulk is the protagonist? I know they're all are but come on, The Hulk pretty much made dominated the film's amazingness. The amazing thing is he didn't even appear much but he still stole the limelight (in my opinion). Don't you think so? If you wanna share your opinion, then feel free to leave a comment underneath. 

Wow. This film exceeded my expectations. It was definitely worth all the hype! 

All characters were amazing but my favourite character has got to be the Hulk. SUCH A LOVABLE CREATURE and yet he's got this dark side of him. I think this is the reason why I adore him so much because I can relate to him. The uses and gratification theory argues that 'audience needs have social and psychological needs which generate certain expectations about the mass media.' In Avengers Assemble, I can relate to Hulk in association of the need for social and self identity because I find reinforcement for his personal values. This simply means that I can see some similarities between myself and his characters. Do you think you do too? I'll let you be the judge of that. Also, he may be mad all the time but he only means well, we all know he's got a good heart. Another thing that makes him lovable is the use of humour towards his character. For those who has seen it will know what I'm talking about. As much as I wanna talk about my favourite scenes, I don't wanna spoil it to those who hasn't seen it yet :P 

Moreover, I would also like to say kudos to the beautiful black widow. There's only one word to describe Scarlet Johansson as black widow, and that word is SEXY. That part is intended to Scarlet and Scarlet only. SHE WAS AWESOME!

Little Ceana's First Visit

It was Sunday when the Figueroa's cute little Ceana had her first visit at our house! Not only I got to see her cute self, but it ended up as a wonderful get together with the whole family, along with the aunties and uncles.  Yes, I say 'LITTLE GET TOGETHER', but in our house, a little get together always turns into a feast hence never underestimate the food and the dishes that we randomly come up with! Well, not me entirely but my parents and my aunties. Why don't you scroll down and check some photos?

Here's my very first picture with Ceana! She looks so cute in her little, purple dress and here white headband with a little ribbon is adorable!

Our first dish! Tita Jean's spaghetti with garlic bread - Classic combo! This dish reminded me of the Philippines because it tasted like Jollibee! I'm not even exaggerating! She said all the ingredients she used were from the Filipino store. So I was like 'ahhhh I get it now!' It was really yummy :)

Pardon my outfit, it was a cold and cosy day so I didn't really bother. Noticed that my cardi and socks have the same polka-dot patterns? I know, how nerdy :P

Overall, it was one chilled-out Sunday! A mixture of funny and serious conversations, never-ending laughter and amazing food! What else can you ask for? We truly are blessed so let's never forget to always pray and thank God :)   

Instagram, where are you?

Yes, it's been 2 weeks now since I last had my iPhone and I'm missing Instagram. Why? Long story, short. I've been mugged. Scary experience for me and my friend, Rachelle! It was a first and hopefully the last. It was also the first time I had access inside the police's car. Road trip? I don't think so! Exciting stuff you may think, but nuhh-uhh! I felt so intimidated as people looked at me like I was some sort of criminal. Hello? I'm the victim here! Anyway, before I start to vent my anger on my laptop I better stop thinking about that day. So, this post is a dedication of the last pictures I took from my Instagram with Chellai :)

Reunited and it feels so good ‘8

So, it’s been ages since I last saw a few friends from London and it’s about time that I get my ass down there and see them! I’ve missed hanging out with them so much especially one of my closest friend RACHELLE ANNE CASTILLO aka Espee. Dude, she’s like my sister yo and I've missed her family and house too!

I left my house early and traveled to Kilburn by bus and it sure was a long journey. Luckily, I had my iPhone and all sorts to keep me accompanied. Anyway, I still remember the route to her house and I got there as soon as I can. As I rang the doorbell *dingdong* it was tito who opened it ‘abah, ang tagal mo ng hindi napunta d2 ahh, san ka galing’ he said. Lool bless tito, I’ve missed his calm self. Then I heard Ate Abby screaming my name so I ran towards her in the kitchen and damn she gave me the tightest hug I’ve had in a very long time. It felt good! She’s so funny and blunt and that’s what I love about her. I remember when I first met her I used to be scared of her. LOL.
Then I went upstairs and there she is, my beautiful Espee doing her make up and raiding her wardrobe. As we catch up and update each other, tita finished taking a shower so I went up to her and hugged her. But before I know it BOOM - she gave me that ‘tampo’ look in her face. I felt so so bad because I haven’t visited them in ages! I deserved that sermon from her. Definitely deserved it. She’s so cute and I love her to bits. She’s like my second mumzy :)

I got to see the lovely Dappers and Janine too so that was a plus! I wish I could have stayed over though and spent more time but I had to go to a family dinner. -___- BITIN LANG NAMAN NG BONGGANG BONGGA. I didn’t even wanna leave. I was gonna leave at 7pm but 7 o’clock has turned to 9:30pm. Next time I’m definitely gonna stay over, I also want to meet Espee’s boyfriend so definitely staying over next time :) Excited much, I want to go clubbing too now that I’m 18 and I can do whatever ;)
